The Sino US trade war has been extended to the LED industry. U.S. LED crystal leader Cree mainland Huizhou factory can not

exempt from 25% tariff, resulting in high-power LED Cree products shipped to the United States blocked, some international

manufacturers may benefit, Crystal Power, Longda and other Taiwan LED factories pay close attention to the transfer effect.

The Wall Street journal revealed that Cree failed to take the lead.

The Sino US trade war has been extended to the LED industry. U.S. LED crystal leader Cree mainland Huizhou factory can

not exempt from 25% tariff, resulting in high-power LED Cree products shipped to the United States blocked, some international

manufacturers may benefit, Crystal Power, Longda and other Taiwan LED factories pay close attention to the transfer effect.

The Wall Street Journal disclosed that Cree failed to qualify for a tariff exemption from the Trump administration and that its

Huizhou factory would face a 25% tariff on LED chip products shipped back to the United States. Cree did not deny in his written

testimony that non-American competitors such as German businessmen Osram and Japanese businessmen Asiatic may

benefit from the high tariffs imposed on the Huizhou plant.

The LED factory in Taiwan has not yet heard about the high tariffs imposed by the US. Crystal Power, Lunda and other LED

factories share some of the same business with Cray. After the Cree incident, the industry has paid close attention to the

follow-up single effect and dynamics.A high-level LED manufacturer in China pointed out that Cree has only Huizhou factory

in the mainland. It mainly packs the products in later stages and then sends them back to the United States to make

higher-level lamps and lanterns. Light and so on.

Industry analysis shows that in terms of industrial competition, Cree has locked in the high-power LED market, and

NorthAmerica's high-end lamp market, this part of the Taiwan factory ink is not deep, but Cree Huizhou factory can

not exempt 25% tariff, for the production base outside the mainland LED factory, have the opportunity to benefit

from the transfer.

For example, Nissan Chemical's high-power products are still mainly produced in Japan, and there is no 25% tariff

problem, so Cree may benefit from naming Nissan Chemical in a written statement. As for the future of the two

sides in the US-China trade war, it is still unclear, and the industry is now highly concerned about the follow-up

development of relevant events.
