What's the marine navigation beacon light?
Marine Navigation mark light is a kind of traffic light installed on some navigation marks to ensure the safe navigation of
ships at night. It emits the prescribed light color and flash frequency at night, reaching the prescribed illumination angle
and visible distance.
Classification and Function
There are four kinds of beacon lights: fixed beacon, light buoy, light boat and lighthouse. Fixed beacons, light buoys
and light boats are beacons for navigation and warning. The lighthouse sends out recognizable signals day and night
at sea for ships to locate and provide dangerous warnings to ships. Batteries are often used as power supply for
beacon lamps. Solar cells have been used in small lighthouses, while diesel generators are used as the main power
supply in large lighthouses.
