Comparison of driving modes of LED lamp
1. According to the driving mode, it can be divided into two categories:
(1) constant current:
A. The output current of the constant current drive circuit is constant, but the output DC voltage varies in a certain range with the magnitude of the load resistance. The smaller the load resistance, the lower the output voltage. The larger the load resistance, the higher the output voltage.
B. Constant current circuit is not afraid of short circuit of load, but it is strictly forbidden to open the load completely.
C. Constant current drive circuit is ideal for driving LED, but relatively expensive.
D. We should pay attention to the maximum withstanding current and voltage value, which limits the use of LED.
(2) regulated voltage:
A. When the parameters of the regulator circuit are determined, the output voltage is fixed, while the output current changes with the increase or decrease of the load.
B. Voltage stabilization circuit is not afraid of open-circuit load, but it is strictly forbidden to completely short-circuit load.
C. Drive the LED with a voltage-stabilized driving circuit. Each series needs to be equipped with a suitable resistor to make the brightness of each series of LED display average.
D. Brightness will be affected by the voltage change from rectification.
